The Husqvarna Viking Platinum Series is an electronic line of sewing machines with built in memory. The 775 model includes four memories that hold 55 stitches each. The 735 and 715 models have one memory capable of programming up to 30 stitches. The Touch FIX feature allows you to stop and lock any stitch instantly using tiny forward and backward stitches. Built-in spools let you thread twin needles with ease. The Sewing Advisor feature allows you to enter the type of fabric and sewing technique into the machine's computer and the sewing machine will automatically choose the correct stitch, stitch width and length and the proper sewing speed.
Husqvarna Viking's Emerald line are three basic, traditional sewing machines without all the computerized functions of the Platinum and Designer series.
